Hazardous Area Response Team – Paediatric Bags
Four years ago we supplied a paediatric bag to each of the ambulances in Merseyside, Cheshire and Greater Manchester. The bags were designed to allow paramedics speedy access to equipment and supplies designed for children in an organised, systematic way and resulted in precious time being saved whenever a child was involved in a life-threatening emergency.
The ambulance service has now set up a new, dedicated team based at Stockport Ambulance Station to respond to high risk incidents. They have six new vehicles so need another six bags for any incident that involves a child.
6 x Paediatric Response Bags
The bags will contain a range of items used on child casualties including a bag mask at neo nate and paediatric size, child sized cuffs, laryngoscopes and IV sets.
Any child involved in a serious incident in the North West.
